Josh Maguire Dip Arch B Sc Arch MRIAI
I studied architecture at Dublin Institute of Technology, graduating in 1992, and was admitted as a member of the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland in 1994. I have worked with several renowned architectural practices since, both in London and Dublin. During this time I have served as a member of the RIAI Housing subcommittee, studied Urban Design at UCD and been responsible for design and management of a broad range of projects for both public and private clients. I have developed particular expertise in design of housing, both in larger scale developments and as one-off projects.
At BKD Architects I was Associate Director responsible for business development and residential projects. Since setting up The House Architects I have had the opportunity of working directly with many end-user clients to help them realise their needs. My goal is to broaden our client base throughout the country and to provide a user-friendly house design service that meets the needs of modern families, and provides added-value for our clients.

I studied architecture at Dublin Institute of Technology, graduating in 1994 and have worked with a variety of renowned architectural practices since. During my time with Anthony Reddy Associates and Mc Crossan O’ Rourke Manning, where I was Associate Director, I developed particular skill-sets in residential and urban design, working as Team leader on some of the most significant residential developments of the time. We set up The House Architects with the objective of bringing together our professional experience and skills with our practical experiences of family needs and priorities in modern Ireland. Through the combination of this insight we hope to provide an architectural design service which is essentially driven by client’s needs and which strives to achieve real solutions for real families,
within realistic budgets.
